MBFWA DAY 4: WE ARE HANDSOME

Wow. So we hope the We Are Handsome team are patting themselves on the back, as they said they would when their fashion week debut was done and dusted. It was packed to the rafters at Indhra Chagury and Jeremy Somers’s Spring Summer 2012 – 2013 preview, with international fans Taylor Tomasi Hill, Rumi Neely and Susie Bubble lining the front row.

Think tropical sunset vistas, collaged zebra prints and old school boom boxes, not to mention the cheeky, photographic prints that brought them fame way back when they debuted. The tongue-in-cheek mixtape of motifs made the sexy swimsuits, spray-on capri prints, sleek pencil skirt and body-con dresses cute enough to wear on the beach, but slick enough for after dark. Turquoises, tangerines and sky blues were just splendid.

As a finishing touch, specially-designed Mezi jewellery and platform ankle strap heels from Milu. Sensational.
